Classification of pharmaceutical glass bottles

1. As far as the manufacturing process is concerned, pharmaceutical glass bottles are generally divided into two categories: molded bottles and tube bottles. MOLDED BOTTLES ARE DIVIDED INTO TWO CATEGORIES: LARGE-MOUTH BOTTLES (BOTTLE MOUTH DIAMETER OF MORE THAN 30MM) AND SMALL-MOUTH BOTTLES. The former is used for powdered, lumpy, and paste-like items, while the latter is used for liquids.
2. According to the form of bottle mouth, it can be divided into cork stopper bottle mouth, thread bottle mouth, crown bottle mouth, rolling bottle mouth, frosted bottle mouth, etc. According to the use case, it is divided into "primary bottles" that are discarded once and "recycled bottles" that are used multiple times.
3. According to the classification of contents, it can be divided into acid bottles, medicine bottles, reagent bottles, infusion bottles, preparation bottles and so on.
4. Pharmaceutical glass bottles can be roughly divided into the following categories according to the different uses of drugs: infusion packaging, oral liquid packaging, tablets, capsules, powder injection packaging, and infusion packaging.
