Vials Play An Important Role in The Laboratory

As a common experimental equipment, sample vials play an important role in the laboratory. It refers to a bottle that can be loaded with samples or reagents, generally made of high-strength chemical glass or polymer materials, and is often used to load various samples or reagents, such as water, chemical reagents, biochemical reagents, medical samples, experimental poisons, etc. Different samples often need to be stored and processed using different vials. For example, biochemical reagents require the use of sterile vials, while experimental toxicants require the use of vials with sealing properties.

Depending on the vial material, vials can be divided into two main types: glass vials and plastic vials. Depending on the scenario, there are various forms such as separating funnel vials, sealed vials, and analytical storage bottles. In addition, there are commonly used titration bottles, precision titration bottles, pipettes, graduated cylinders and other supporting products.

As one of the basic equipment in the laboratory, the sample vial has certain characteristics, such as:
(1) Heat-resistant and cold-resistant: especially glass vials, which can withstand high-temperature calcination and low-temperature freezing.
(2) Transparent: Most vials are transparent, and the state of the sample can be directly observed, while non-transparent plastic vials also have their special application scenarios.
(3) Good sealing: The sample bottle has good sealing, which can avoid sample volatilization or pollution of the external environment.
(4) High safety: The use of quality-assured vials helps to avoid accidents or chemical reactions during the experiment.
