Suitable for freeze-dried (lyophilized) powders, reconstitutable injectables, and aseptically-filled dry powder products. During lyophilization, the two-leg stopper allows moisture vapour to escape while partially inserted, then is pressed home under the lyophilizer shelf to create the final hermetic seal before capping.

The two-leg lyophilization stopper is the required pairing for freeze-dried powder vials. Its two-leg channel structure allows moisture vapour to escape during the freeze-drying cycle while the stopper is partially inserted, then seals completely when pressed home by the lyophilizer shelf at the end of the cycle.

The 20mm aluminum-plastic flip off cap is crimped over the rubber stopper to maintain stopper compression, provide tamper-evident closure, and protect the rubber surface. The same cap size is used for both liquid and lyophilization vial formats - only the stopper underneath changes. Custom colours available for product line identification.
