Debossing is the inverse of embossing - the logo is pressed into the PP surface rather than raised above it, creating a recessed impression. On a black PP tab, debossed text and logos produce a subtle, elegant effect - the recessed letters create shadow lines at their edges that make the logo legible without any added colour or raised surface. Debossed logos have the same permanence as embossed - moulded into the PP component, impossible to remove or wear off. Some pharmaceutical brands prefer the flatter, more minimal visual effect of debossing over the raised relief of embossing. Custom printing applies your logo to the surface of the black PP tab using pad printing, hot stamping, or screen printing. Unlike embossing or debossing, printing does not change the physical surface profile - the logo is applied as an ink or metallic foil layer on the flat black PP surface. The most striking combination on a black cap is gold or silver hot stamp - the metallic foil adheres to the black PP surface and produces a highly visible, premium-looking gold or silver logo that reads clearly in low light and at distance. Other printing colours (white, red, blue, full-colour CMYK) are possible with pad or screen printing.
